Analysis: With USC legend Pete Carroll taking over the coaching job, this team has already made major changes. Carroll wanted Whitehurst to add pressure Matt Hasselbeck and make him up his game that has been on the decline the past couple of years. Julius Jones dealt with injures last year, but with Justin Forsett and Leon Washington backing him up, they should provide a good punch. T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Deion Branch are dealing with a few injures this offseason, but Tate will help with taking some of the passes from Hasselbeck. Okung was great first round draft pick that will instantly start and help provide protection for Hasselbeck. The defense is what hurts. Lofa Tatupu has really developed as a great linebacker and leader of the defense, but he needs help. Aaron Curry is slowly getting there. Thomas will most likely start in the secondary that needs the help. The line isn’t great either. This is a team that is slowly making their way back up the latter, but they may need a couple more years to get there.

2010 Season Predictions: 2-14, Fourth in NFC West
