Analysis: Josh Freeman took over last year late in the season, but the team couldn’t really produce on offense. They hope to change that this year. Part of the reason was the injury to Cadillac Williams. He should be healthy and with Derrick Ward backing him up, they should take some pressure off of Freeman. With Michael Clayton and Reggie Brown, plus the addition of Arrelious Benn, Freeman will have targets. The offensive line hurt last year, and the team really didn’t do anything to improve that. The defense, which wasn’t great last year, is what saw the most improvement. McCoy will contribute early and often and Price adds depth to the offensive line. The linebackers could have used some help, but again didn’t receive any. The secondary was descent last year. Aqib Talib and Ronde Barber are joined by Jones and Lewis to strengthen the group. The team is still improving, but lack of help on the offensive line will come back to haunt them.

2010 Season Predictions: 4-12, Fourth in NFC South
