Analysis: After starting 14-0 and then following with the controversial call to not chase history, the Colts still made the Super Bowl in one of the best matchups in recent history against the Saints. Though they lost, the team is still one of the best teams in the league. Peyton Manning is one if not the best quarterbacks in the league and with Reggie Wayne, Anthony Gonzalez, Pierre Garcon and Dallas Clark to still throw to, he is not going to be relinquishing that anytime soon. Though the offensive line gets a lot of blame for the Super Bowl loss, they are solid and should be again. Joseph Addai, if he can stay healthy, adds a depth to the offensive attack. Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney are still a force to be reckoned with. Hughes and Angerer add depth to the linebacking core the needs help. Bob Sanders is getting old, and the team is not sure how he will do this year, but he still wants to play. Thomas should help at corner and the defense, which couldn’t stop the Saints, should be OK. The Colts are again the team to beat.

2010 Season Prediction: 12-4, AFC South Division Champs
