NFL 2010 Season Predictions: AFC North Cincinnati Bengals

Today we have the Cincinnati Bengals.

Sorry for the break in the teams, I was just traveling back home to Michigan from Colorado. I am six teams behind, so I will put up six teams today, so look at them all. Also, as many may have seen, Brett Favre reportedly retired today and that will of course change my predictions. I am going to wait and see what will stick before I change things, but I think it will more or less change the NFC more than the AFC, but I will let you know my changes when this announcement is for sure.

Analysis: The reason for the Bengals division championship last year was because they had one of the best defenses in a very defensive division. The offense didn’t produce as well as they should with Carson Palmer leading the charge. He gets injured, a lot, and that is not good. But, if he can stay healthy, the organization has added a lot of help. Joining Chad Ochocinco will be Gresham, Bryant, Shipley and Briscoe. The passing game should be excellent. Cedric Benson can hopefully find his game that was left in Chicago with less weight on his shoulders. The defense will be as good if not better this year. Rey Maualuga, Dhani Jones and Keith Rivers dominate the at the linebacker positions. Tank Johnson has a chance to get better this year and the defensive backs are great. Leon Hall did excellent and the other guys will help him grow.

2010 Season Prediction: 8-8, Third in AFC North
