Analysis: The Texans almost made the playoffs last year for the first time in team history, but this may be the year that actually happens. Matt Schaub was at the top of most passing statistics last year and competed well with Peyton Manning in the division. They didn’t lose too much on offense, with Tate taking over for Moats as back up duty of Steve Slaton. Andre Johnson has been unhappy, but I think he will see that the team is going places and settle down. Owen Daniels is slowly developing into a top of the league tight end. Neil Rackers should take over at kicker, and even though he had a shaky season last year, he is top notch. Shaun Cody, Amobi Okoye and Mario Williams will continue to dominate opposing offensive lines while Sharpton and Clark should add good depth to a linebacker squad led by Brian Cushing. The team will still have to compete with the Colts for top of the division, but they may be able to squeak out a wild card berth.

2010 Season Predictions: 11-5, AFC Wildcard
