Analysis: Will Brett Favre return or won’t he? Again, in another offseason, that is the question. It seems more likely than not that he will return and that instantly makes the Vikings the favorite to win the division. Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin stepped up big last year in helping Bernard Berrian and Visanthe Shiancoe handle the load that Favre threw at them. It will again be a huge method in scoring for the Vikings. Adrian Peterson loses Chester Taylor but gains a similar back in Gerhart and help in the load from Moats. The offense should be as good this year as they were last year, if not better, because they know how close they were last year. AP needs to limit the mistakes, and they will again compete for a spot in the Super Bowl. The defense, which doesn’t sit back seat to Favre and the offense is as good as ever. The line is spectacular with Ray Edwards, Pat and Kevin Williams and Jared Allen. The linebackers could use some help, but they are descent. The secondary will miss Cedric Griffin early on, but the signing of Cook and Sheppard will help ease the pain, and Antoine Winfield will lead the team again. This is team that is going to explode out of the gate. The Packers will present a bigger threat, as will the Bears, but the team has what it takes.

2010 Season Predictions: 13-3, NFC Wildcard
